Photoreport from Elbrus and Cheget

The journey to the highest mountain of Europe was rich with photographs of snowy slopes and peaks. When there was no snowfalls I managed to take nice mountain views. Here you can take a look at the most successful photographs taken on Elbrus and Cheget.

I guess New Year holidays should be spent in a very snowy place. That's why I decided to go to Elbrus region at the end of December. There was an opportunity to combine business with pleasure and now you can see the results.

At first some photographs made on the Cheget mountain:

The first image is a photograph of Elbrus — the highest mountain in Russia (5 642 m). Some people believe it is the highest in Europe because of differing authorties on how the Caucasus are distributed between Europe and Asia. Elbrus has two summits, the difference between them is 21 m.
